This historic church in Hale has recently undergone major internal refurbishment and re-ordering.

The project brief was to create a warm, elegant and vibrant interior to transform the church into a welcoming place for both worship and general use including meetings and exhibitions.

Work undertaken included internal demolition, stone masonry modification and repairs, modification and construction of new chancel flooring, general and bespoke joinery, provision of a servery, re-plastering, cleaning of exposed roof timbers and trusses, electrical re-wiring including provision of LED mood lighting and state of the art audio visual system, installation of a new heating system, restoration of existing boarded flooring, provision of new floor coverings and re-decoration throughout.

The project was supported by Yorkshire cabinet and furniture maker Treske who provided bespoke church furniture including a glass-topped communion table with an inlaid Jerusalem cross made of Palestinian olive wood, lectern, table-top lectern, font stand, and church seating.
